Whether it’s stress, anxiety, relationship concerns, or just a need for someone to talk to, therapy can provide the support you need. Together, we'll explore ways to improve your mental well-being, develop healthy coping strategies, and help you feel more confident and balanced in your everyday life.

Amanda is a Registered Psychologist in the province of Alberta with a Master of Counselling degree and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. She provides individual counselling services to youth (13+) and adults, and offers in person appointments and telehealth psychology.

With years of experience working with the local Calgary community, Amanda’s clinical practice is guided by her belief that therapy is a collaborative effort that stems from the initiative of both the client and the therapist. Amanda focuses on creating an atmosphere that is both welcoming and safe for all individuals from diverse backgrounds and is LGBTQ+ affirming. She believes that all individuals have the capacity to grow from their current circumstances and tailors her approach to meet her client’s specific needs and goals.

Amanda uses an integrative therapeutic approach that utilizes interventions informed from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution Focused Therapy (SFT), attachment-based therapy and family systems therapy. Amanda is also trained in providing Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy for the treatment of trauma.

With a special interest in working with youth, Amanda understands the complexities of adolescence and the various pressures that today’s society imposes on young individuals. Amanda’s areas of focus include but are not limited to:
